Guitar Group
This year Ms. Moore brought the guitar group to Moore abbey. She brought extra people to holdup the books. We sang in the choir at mass then we went into a room and sang for the people who lived in Moore abbey. We sang lots of songs for e.g. the whistling gipsy, I’ll tell me ma and all the Christmas carols. At the end of the day we all got sweets and fizzy drinks. It was an amazing experience for me and the others to sing and play the guitar in front of a whole room of people. All the people loved it, some people sang with us and other people just clapped their hands. It was the coolest thing we ever did.

Drumming
This year, we were very lucky to get drum lessons from Ms Moore. Each class had 2 lessons, learning new beats every time. We like the type you would hear in parades. We are all very grateful to Ms. Moore for going to the trouble of giving us all lessons. Thanks Ms. Moore.

Carol Singing
Everyone from first to sixth class went to Tullamore shopping centre to do carol singing to raise money for our school and we got crisps and a drink in between. We practiced at choir for weeks before the event. Parents ,teachers and children were singing and playing to great applause. Some of us even met the Taoiseach of the day Brian Cowen.
